We are the Palm Beach Dietetic Association (PBDA), a professional organization of Registered/Licensed Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians serving Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Hendry counties. Our members are available to provide expert nutrition information and counseling to meet the needs of the community and individuals.
Our mission is to provide a supportive network for nutrition professionals to enhance knowledge and skills and promote health and wellness in Palm Beach County and the surrounding areas.
Welcome to Palm Beach Dietetic Association 2014-2015 ! Get connected and stay connected!
We have an informative year ahead of us including another trip to Pero Farms, legislative/licensure/insurance/reimbursement information, the opportunity to get your Medical Errors CEU requirement for licensure renewal and scholarship money available for a trip to Washington DC as well as Tallahassee for legislative workshops. Your membership dues will pay for all these activities and CEU credits, but more importantly, it is an opportunity for you to network and stay connected with your peers!
So join us on Tuesday, September 16 at the Hilton Palm Beach Airport (150 Australian Ave) for our first meeting.
Please see the Join Us/Membership link to the left for the new membership forms, or just show up at the meeting. If you are unable to attend the first meeting, the memberships can be mailed in, or you can bring to the October meeting. I look forward to getting connected with you this year!

Action Alert - National Diabetes Clinical Care Commission Act
The Academy needs all members to support the National Diabetes Clinical Care Commission Act (H.R. 1074). This bill solves the problem of dispersed, uncoordinated federal entities working on diabetes issues and establishes a commission to make recommendations for better coordination to leverage federal programs for people with diabetes and pre-diabetes. The commission, which will include clinical dietitians and other expert practitioners, would also determine how the government could support clinicians in providing high quality care to people with diabetes.

Please ask your member of Congress to support the National Diabetes Clinical Care Commission Act (H.R. 1074).

Take two minutes and send a note to your member of Congress. Take Action Today! Thank you for your support!
